Life is stressful
Life is challenging.
Life, at times, is stressful and challenging. That’s a given. Our relationship to our challenges and stressors, how we handle and view them, play an important role in our physical health, emotional wellbeing, and our relationship to ourselves and others.
Your daily routine might seem to be an ongoing grind of a never ending to do list. You’re tumbling forward to “what’s next”, always on your way somewhere, feeling a lack of joy and connection in your life.
Maybe you’re feeling unfocused, lacking concentration. Or reacting to life circumstances, losing it at the drop of a hat, often hurting the ones you love the most, or jeopardizing work relationships.
Maybe there’s just an ache in your heart, knowing there is something more,… yearning for a deeper connection.
You’ve lost your connection to who you really are.
A deep sense of self and connection to the world around you.
Mindfulness will teach you a new way of experiencing the world- as though every moment mattered. At the same time, meditation teaches you resilience, flexibility, and equanimity in the face of life’s inevitable ups and downs.
Maybe, these types of thoughts have popped into your head more than once:
I’m too stressed and overwhelmed
I have too much to do
I feel like a can’t focus or concentrate
I’m overreacting to every little thing
I don’t know how to meditate
I don’t have enough time for myself
I’m so stressed out!
Science backed mindfulness techniques to help you:

Increase happiness and well being

Reduce chronic physical pain

We’ll explore mindfulness through clay, paint, pastels, and more. This class is process, not finish product, oriented. The purpose of this class is not to make a beautiful artistic object, but to experience mindfulness through the creative process. No artistic experience needed. Cultivating Heart Centered Practices
During this series of classes, we focus on the qualities of the heart which are innate to our being, though often feel so distant in our busy lives. We use mindfulness practices and guided meditations to open up to loving kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. As we nurture and explore these heartfelt practices, and our obstacles to them, we open ourselves up to our deep seated loving states of heart and mind. We learn practical exercises to bring into our daily lives.

Working with Difficult Emotions
Our emotional life is central to what it means to be human. Learning the skill of handling difficult emotions creates emotional balance in our lives. The course will provide the capacity to bring balance during our intense (and everyday) emotional experiences.
WORKSHOP Creativity and Self Compassion

Transform your relationship with food as we use mindful exercises and writing to discover our relationships with food. Begin to connect and have insights to your relationship to food and the habits you’ve created around them. Through mindful eating practices participants will bring awareness to the way they eat and their habits around food. Participants will learn daily mindful eating practices to bring into their daily life, transforming their relationship with food.
For those that want more guidance, 1- on-1 support is available.
“One of the purposes of mindfulness is to see our emotional habits in the light of awareness- the habits that are helpful and the habits that cause stress and complication in our lives.”
–American Psychological Association
“Mounting scientific evidence from hundreds of universities—including dedicated centers at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in the United States and the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom—strongly suggests that mindfulness not only reduces stress but also gently builds an inner strength so that future stressors have less impact on our happiness and physical well-being.”
–Mindful Oct 2016
“My life changed when I decided to try a few Mindful Meditation sessions with Jill. My magical journey began when I met this extraordinary teacher whose insight and gentle manner were illuminating and uplifting. She taught me to be kind to myself.
